Act Profile

Flowers of Paris

Flower of Paris are a London-based quartet specializing in the old French caf and music-hall styles of pre & post war chanson & musette. This rich and evocative strand of twentieth century music is brought to life by the beautiful and charming voice of chanteuse Lo, accompanied by the accordeon and piano of Christian, the violin of Kirsten and the guitar of Martin.
Well-loved favourites and lesser-known gems from such names as : Charles Trenet, Yves Montand, Andre Claveau & Edith Piaf are interspersed with musette waltzes and swing tunes, dating from the 1890s to the 1950s.
Que vive la chanson francaise!
