This is perfect for this show, it’s a great late night listen…. Really wonderful stuff the guys a great vocalist, Gordon he translates classics with his cool jazz voice, I love stuff like that, it just gets you going doesn’t it …… it’s just perfect, just perfect.
Gordon has a superb gritty, bluesy, soul voice that really hits the spot when he lets rip........ arrangements really good and great vocals. I particularly like it when he opens up those chords and gives out with that really gravelly, soulful voice.”
"A voice that covers the whole range from soft sensitive ballads to belting roc, all
with a wonderful sense of conviction, taste and soul. A great album featuring imaginative arrangements and superb singing- Gordon really can get inside a song and, a rarity indeed, isn't dependent on microphones to carry his powerful voice.”
One of the UK's most ubiquitous Jazz critics and writers
"No need for labels, no need indeed, what label could you apply anyway. This CD is soaked in jazz feeling, played by technically immaculate musicians interpreting fine tunes in which those composed by the band leader/vocalist himself need fear no challenge. Gordon's voice is unique and his own. Altogether a thoughtful and delightful collection."

"FMR have discovered a gem in Gaudioso. With a rich soulful voice and understated delivery he is a must for "dinner jazz" fans. As well as original compositions "no need for labels" features superb covers of "Nights in white satin", "What a difference a day makes" "The long and winding road" and Lionel Riche's "Hello"

"Heard this guy at a Mayfair wine bar, fronting an 8 piece soul band with a hi energy vocal performance that has to be heard to be believed. The album is a shock! Gordon has put together some fine, known (and not so well known) jazzers.
Play "No need" and hear a singer who is world apart from the Mayfair wine bar performer. The album is a joy, and the vocal performance oozes subtle, experienced colourful blues. Why FMR (the record company) have categorised this superb soul and brilliant blues man as "jazz" heaven only knows?"

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your band's magnificent performance at the Savoy. It was a pleasure dealing with you in the lead up to the event as there was very little to worry about due to good communication and your professional approach. The feedback obtained from the guests, which were in excess of 350 was that last years annual Ball was without doubt the best ever! Our Society will be using you for this years Savoy event and I would gladly recommend your services. again, thank you for your lively performance and I very much look forward to the next opportunity to see you.

Gordon Gaudioso's band was the topic of much of all the conversations. Many could not believe just how good you were.
For me, the whole night seemed to pass so quickly. You helped to make it something that will be difficult to beat. The Punch Bowl Restaurant rate it as their best so far, and were really impressed with your performance. You were the talk of the restaurant the next day. Thank you for a great night.

The thrill of an up-tempo Latin-pop fusion brought the room alive, and the cool vivacious sounds of Latin Soul enticed you down the stairs. Accomplished duo Gordon and Dominic expertly weaved around some familiar songs in their own unique and relaxed style.
