Jazz Deco blur the line between present and past, modern pop and hot jazz.
Formed in 2014 by the three world class musicians Francesca Confortini, Aliocha Thevenet and Giovanni Cresseri, the Gramophones are a jazz trio based in London that brings on stage a mixture between old timeless jazz classics from the 1920ies and modern pop hits rearranged in the same vintage fashion.
In their shows nothing is left to chance.
Everything, from the choice of the repertoire to the visual style, is carefully chosen to take the venue and the audience to an alternate reality where Taylor Swift shares the bandstand with Louis Armstrong, where Bessie Smith jams with The White Stripes, and Benny Goodman swings with Meghan Trainor.
