Act Profile

Millennium

Millennium have been one of the most sought-after bands on the function and corporate circuit for 8 years now, and they've built a reputation as being one of the most easygoing, professional, and slick-sounding bands out there.

There is something in their extensive repertoire to suit everybody, and they know exactly how to tailor their set to your night, ensuring it is one that will be talked about for years to come! Their crisp, professional sound has to be heard to be believed - with immense guitars, rich vocal harmonies, and one of the tightest rhythm sections you'll ever hear.

Millennium come as a tightly honed four or five-piece outfit, with the option of a keyboard player for that extra-slick touch. They are also available as a power trio for a stripped down rockin' sound!

They have gigged alongside Pat Sharp, Goldie Looking Chain, Pendulum, and Scott Mills amongst many others. This band know exactly how to interact with a crowd and really build the night into something spectacular. Off-stage, Millennium have built a reputation for being punctual, sharply dressed, and amenable - blending seamlessly with any event.

And just in case you were in any doubt as to the depth of talent and class on offer with this band, you will find the individual members have worked with musicians as diverse as Jamie Cullum, DJ Sandy Rivera, Stooshe, Guthrie Govan, and ex-members of Stereophonics, M-People and S'Express.

Best function band I've ever seen! It was like a real rock gig and they had something for everyone. So slick and professional too. Would recommend.

Just got back from our son Michael's weddiing to Fleur, we were fortunate enough to have booked Millennium. This band sounded great on the website but live they were absolutely fantastic!!! We danced the night away and they really were the icing on the cake in that the dancing did not stop! Many thanks for a fantastic evening's entertainment.

Hi Chaps,

Just wanted to thank you all once again for making my 40th party such a huge success and such a fabulously fun evening. Everyone was amazed and thoroughly enjoyed the evening and you guys were the ones who made it so. In the end, everyone was dancing, even my Dad and boss! You were fab at tuning into what people were enjoying and you continued to play similar style songs to keep the interest.

I cannot recommend you strongly enough. You were great. Many thanks chaps.

I've had numerous questions about CDs. Do you have one?

We've just got home from our honeymoon and were saying while we were away that we must email you guys as soon as we got back to say a huge thank you to all four of you for coming so far for our wedding. We are so pleased that you were recommended to us and our gamble on not hearing you play before paid off. We absolutely loved you all, as did all of our guests. We really do think that you made the evening of our wedding. And to top it off you are all such lovely guys, it was like having friends play rather than just another band, so a huge thank you to you and the boys again.

I hope it wasn't too tiring for you the drive, but as you say brushing up on your language skills is always fun and french food - yum!

Everyone complemented us on how good and how much fun you are, so hopefully you might get a few new bookings through us in the future. We will definitely be recommending you all to anyone who will listen! If you ever need any references, please feel free to give us a shout we couldn't recommend you enough. Now I just need to get on with organising another party so I can book you guys again, haha!

We just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding. Everybody we spoke to said how good you were.

The acoustic performance was absolutely amazing, and to say we managed to get you in such short notice and be as excellent a standard as you were was just pure luck. The songs were perfectly balanced for the scene we wanted, and your voice and musical skills were perfect. We just hope that the videographer captured some of it in the video. For me it was one of the highlights of the day. So thank you.

The evening do was also good. Everybody commented on how good the band was, and that they were one of the best they had seen. Me personally I have been to Glastonbury 8 times, seen many concerts and you were right up there with them.... Brilliant.

Anyway, I will definitely be recommending you as a solo artist and also Millennium to everybody who even has a sniff of needing a band.

.....

Good morning Don,

You recently helped my husband and I with the band and DJ for our wedding on Saturday 22nd June at Donnington Valley Hotel.
Jon has emailed you to say thank you very much for everyone's hard work on the day.

I just wanted to email you to let you know that my wedding obsession hasn't ended since the wedding. A guy called Darren phoned into BBC Radio Berkshire this morning to ask for help in finding a band for his wedding on Sunday 18th August as his and dropped out with late notice. I sent a text to the radio station saying that I highly recommended you guys, with the band name and web address. This was read out by Andrew Peach just before 8am.

The station then called me back on air at 08:15 and asked why I thought you guys were so great, what kind of music you did. I managed to talk to them for a minute or so to give a great recommendation.

The bands details were then read back out to Darren the caller at about 08:40 as a suggestion for a band he should try to contact.

Am hoping that he will now get in touch with you guys, but if not, that it will help towards some further marketing :)

Thank you once again and you guys were truly as fantastic as I stated on air :)

Kind regards

Amie Groves
