A kind of modern-day Troubadour, Odetta has been gaining rave reviews for her live performances across the UK with her unique take on a well known song, highly accomplished musicianship and extensive repertoire.

Odetta knows how to create that "big" sound ideal for Friday or Saturday night entertainment, or even a toned down weekday set. Spanning an impressive ten year musical career, Odetta has a truly versatile style that can be tailored to suit a vast range of different audiences and age groups.

Odetta has shared the bill with musical legends such as Joan Baez, The Stranglers, Eddie Reader and Bob Dylan amongst others, and is therefore no stranger to entertaining large audiences.

It's also worth noting that Odetta prefers to keep her sound 'live' - so you won't find any backing tracks or pre-recorded material at one of her nights - what you see and hear is pure live acoustic entertainment - just exceptional guitar playing and soaring vocals. If required, Odetta also uses a vocal harmoniser pedal, acheiving the effect of two vocals, live, with a unique fuller sound and fantastic soaring harmonies!

Whether it be for a wedding, a private party, a hotel bar, a restaurant or a corporate function - experience an evening of spellbindingly good music - this is pure live acoustic entertainment at its sweetest and best!

Your Event:

Odetta is a professional with over ten years music industry experience, and will make sure that throughout your event, you and your guests will be entertained and provided with a high quality of music that will fit the mood of the occasion just right. Odetta carefully chooses just the right songs from her extensive repertoire and ensures they are tailored to suit each event perfectly.

Odetta always looks glamorous and professional, and when it comes to your event, is also flexible on timings, arriving early if necessary to set up therefore avoiding any unnecessary interruptions to your event. Set up time is usually just less than one hour. Odetta is also extremely flexible with the planning and delivery of each show, and is happy to work with any themes or ideas that you may have in mind for your special occasion.

Odetta is fully self-contained using a 500 watt P.A system (2 x 12 inch 250w speakers and powered amp), Shure SM58 beta microphones, Tanglewood electro-acoustic guitar, tri-colour lighting and music playlists provided on iPod or CD between sets at no extra cost.
Odessa is also covered by Public Liability Insurance and all electrical equipment is fully PAT tested.

South East based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, Wales.
