Rupert Stroud and his band
iTunes charting and published recording artist Rupert Stroud has National BBC Radio, Sky Sports, ITV and Channel 4 airplay plaudits. Rupert and his band have opened the show for some of the UK's biggest world renowned acts including James Blunt, JP Cooper, Texas and The Feeling to name a few. With an extensive repertoire of covers and original songs tailored for your corporate events, weddings and private parties.
Rupert's powerful beat driven sound has garnered attention from the music media and radio support from BBC Introducing / BBC 6Music (Tom Robinson) + BBC Radio 2 (Dermot O'Leary, Alex Lester, Bob Harris) BBC Radio Scotland, XFM, BFBS Radio and Amazing Radio. Amassing fans along the way playing to over 160,000 people in 2016/17 Rupert’s broad musical appeal gained prominent support slots including amongst others opening the show for Texas, James Blunt, Little Comets and two performances at the Etihad Stadium pre match for Manchester City.
As well as National Radio plays, Rupert's Music has also been featured on National UK Television channels - SKY TV during Premiership football coverage, ITV's Coronation Street and Channel 4's Hollyoaks.
Displaying strong-hearted, beat driven acoustic rock, inspired tracks. Rupert has been compared to Richard Ashcroft, Jim Morrison and Nick Cave with a hint of Elbow. Stroud’s second album "Chasing The Night" saw him dubbed as Yorkshire's one to watch.

The plaudits kept coming and they soon saw Rupert performing with his band on the festival circuit sharing the stage with artist such as Texas (opening the show at Millennium Square Leeds to an audience of 5,000) James Blunt (opening the UK leg of his Moon Landing tour at Dalby Forest N. Yorkshire) Little Comets, The Feeling, Reverend and The Makers, US artists Max Jury & Nell Bryden and rising stars Gavin James, Jake Isaac & JP Cooper and Ed Sheeran’s new signing Jamie Lawson.
Rupert's career has gone from strength to strength with his latest EP release "Talk To You" reaching No. 11 in the iTunes Singer/songwriter charts on the first week of it's pre-order release. Earlier releases"Never Back Down" and "Morning Light" caught the ears of national radio, receiving radio play and plaudits from the likes of BBC Radio 2's Dermot O'Leary, BBC introducing and 6 Music's Tom Robinson, XFM and BFBS Radio "A" listed Morning Light and invited Rupert down to BFBS Radio studios for a special feature interview and session. Rupert also received his first US radio airplays on KX 93.5FM Laguna Beach California. His music video for "Never Back Down" won "People's Choice Award 2013" at The 27th Leeds International Film Festival.
As a "Champion Media Spokesperson" Alzheimer's Research UK, for Alzheimer's Research UK, Rupert has raised over £8,000 to date through various campaigns and events including sales from his charity single "Always". Rupert was interviewed in conjunction with the G8 Summit on Dementia by The Guardian and did a live TV interview on Al Jazeera International News programme "Inside Story" which was broadcast to over 200 million English speaking homes.
His latest releases "The Truth" and "The One" have been played on BBC Radio 2, BBC Scotland, Amazing Radio and playlisted on BFBS as well as playlisted on over 60 regional stations. The BBC Scotland play led to him being invited to perform a live session on BBC Scotland on the Janice Forsyth Show.
Rupert has just released his brand new "Along The Low" album and has received rave reviews from BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Scotland and music media sites and radio stations around the world.

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.
Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 6pm and to be finished around midnight.
