Act Profile

The Bondis

This London-based dynamic Aussie band plays a huge set of classic good-time Aussie rock and Party tunes, but they are in no way limited to an Aussie and Antipodean audience, their repertoire is huge ranging from layback jazz to current charting hits. The guys have been playing to packed audiences all over the U.K. for more than 6 years. Gigs they have played included the first match of the Australian Cricket Team Ashes Tour, Arundel Castle, Fosters 'Bondi Beach' Australia Day party in Trafalgar Square, The Toast Australia Festivals; Clapham Common and Fulham Palace, The Sports Café, World Cup Party.

The Bondis have access to an electronic drum kit when the occasion calls for it (ie if volume needs to be controlled.)

Our wedding band cancelled 6 weeks before our festival wedding but we managed to find these guys at short notice. Thank god we did as they were better than the original booking! If you are looking for a band that is a bit more raw like proper rock bands, then these are your guys. Not just another boy band. Top notch.

Sorry for the delay on my side I was also on holiday.

Everything went well. So thank you very much for your help.

“The huge HD screen was raised to reveal The Bondis. London’s premier Australian and New Zealand cover band started playing to the packed crowd; everyone danced and sang along to the Bums repertoire of classic and good-time Aussie rock – covers of John Butler Trio, Crowded House, ACDC and Spiderbait.”
Australian 5 September 2013

“You certainly kept the party going and I loved the fact that there were people on the dance floor all night. We had a great time and part of that was down to you and the rest of The Bondis. Everyone has been asking where I got you and commenting on how great you were. The music was fantastic and exactly what I wanted”

Sarah Marsden, Upstage Events
