John Reilly and Lewis Nitikman - Two renowned songwriters and musicians growing up, one in Liverpool England and one in Vancouver Canada and both being influenced in different ways by the amazing songs of Sir Elton John.
Singer songwriter and Atlantic recording artist JOHN REILLY:
“I Grew up with these awesome songs. They taught me to sing and the brave and creative lyrics of Bernie Taupin gave me inspiration to write and eventually hear my own songs on radio and MTV across Europe and Canada. Divine coincidence would have it that simultaneously my future writing partner LEWIS NITIKMAN and was in fact 4,500 miles away in Vancouver blazing through his teenage years becoming a world class piano player through soaking up and emmersing himself in the dynamic and melodic genius of Elton’s piano technique and style.”
When JOHN REILLY & LEWIS NITIKMAN come together to perform a totally live concert covering the amazing repertoire of Sir Elton John, it is not a tribute, but a professional, sophisticated and passionate celebration of songs now embedded in peoples hearts and life journeys.
