The Louisiana Roadhouse Dogs
Formed nearly ten years ago, the band is a regular fixture on the London live music scene. That said, they have travelled pretty extensively from the Amazon to the Middle East and across Europe, entertaining at festivals and private parties alike. The band features the meaty horns of Ned Bennett (saxes) and Jeff Williams (bandleader/vocalist/trombonist). Also featured is one of the finest Blue Eyed Soul singers on the planet (you ask him, he'll tell yer) Mr Paul Miller. Jeff chose the Deep South idiom for many reasons, but the main one is: Variety, so much great music came out of the South and defined modern music as we know it today. Audiences today are so much more "savvy" and listen to a wide range of musical genres. We reflect this in our shows, you are only ever one number away from a song you will love!!
Guitar, Electric Bass, Drums, Keyboards/vocals, Sax, Trombone/Vocals If budget is a consideration our keyboard player can play bass pedals and the band can go out as a five piece
Earlier in the day we can perform as a 1920's Gatsby/Speakeasy/Prohibition Band with the addition of a Sousaphone player. We can also provide swing, latin and lounge music early on for the reception/meet and greet of a party as a three or four piece, adding the other musicians later.
Yamaha Stagepas 600 PA, used in the Savoy Ballroom and the Rivoli Ball Room in Brockley. Our lighting rig is a set of 4 LED ProSound Pod Disco Lights

1. I hired the band to perform at the Belgravia Classic Car Show. It was the first time we’d run the event, so I wanted a band who understood the brief. Not only did they understand the brief, but they exceeded everybody’s expectations. They performed all over the gardens, and also did a set in the marquee. With an event like this, flexibility is key, and nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending them, and look forward to welcoming them back next year.

Highly recommended!! Communication was outstanding when booking and organising the sets for the evening, setup was smooth and entirely unobtrusive and the performance was simply exceptional. The guys took our Jazz Band Summer Speakeasy Ball to another level. From charming reception music early on, to a full-on roof blowing experience into the dark hours, the band truly delivered on every level.
A big thanks to Jeff and the Guys for not only packing the dance floor throughout the evening, but also taking the time to socialise with some of our hard-core jazz enthusiasts between sets. I have been inundated with plaudits and requests for repeat performances since the evening – we will certainly be booking again and again. I certainly cannot confess to being a wordsmith but I hope it summarises our gratitude.
