ABC formed in 2007 with the vision of creating the ultimate party band; not only covering the highest quality songs from the worlds leading artists, but adding that touch of class by using their years of experience as pro musicians to ensure they authentically recreate & truly do justice to the original artists recordings, performing the songs just like guests know & love them 100% live and from the soul - NO backing tracks or sequencers!

Over the years they have packed dancefloors at hundreds of weddings, birthday parties, corporate events & university balls with their awesome mix of classic disco, funk, soul and rock 'n' roll from the worlds leading artists such as Stevie Wonder, James Brown and KC & The Sunshine Band, Jerry Lee Lewis and the Beatles - all performed seamlessly alongside modern funky & soulful hits from artists such as Ce Lo Green, Amy Winehouse, Jamiroquai and Mark Ronson!

This unique & energetic blend of top tunes spanning 6 decades is performed to the highest standard & has guests of all ages heading to the dancefloor - there is truly is something for everyone! They never fail to wow audiences from the smallest birthday party to some of the nations largest venues including Twickenham Stadium where they performed at the Rugby 7's tournament - guests are guaranteed to be dancing & singing along from the first song to the last!

The band is made up of the highest calibre 100% professional session players, who between them have worked with many top artists & performed for countless household-name companies. Members of The Double Measures have toured with artists as diverse as The Undertones, Glasvegas, Canteloup and Peter Andre, recorded with members of The Kooks and appeared on live BBC & Kerrang radio sessions.


The band provides a full 1600watt PA system, which you are welcome to use for announcements/speeches & incidental music wherever possible, as well as a lighting rig with sound activated moving scanners. As Musicians Union members, the band are fully insured for public liability cover, and all equipment is PAT tested in line with current regulations.
