ASQ
The ASQ was formed in 1996 and has since enjoyed an increasing reputation as one of London's premier string sections: A well established, versatile all female string quartet drawn from three of the capital's foremost music colleges. The individual members of the quartet have, between them, a wealth of experience within the classical and contemporary music fields. They have worked with an enormous variety of artists from Pavarotti to Robbie Williams, their involvement covering live performances, touring, recording and TV dates.
The ASQ has given many recitals throughout the UK and as individual musicians work regularly in the West End and with leading orchestras including English National Opera, the Royal Philharmonic, BBC Concert Orchestra, Royal Northern Ballet and the English Symphony Orchestra. Both as a Quartet and as individuals, they have performed at many of London's most prestigious venues, including the Albert Hall, Southbank Centre and the Barbican.
Weddings, parties and functions…….
With such a wide experience in both classical and contemporary fields, it is no surprise that the ASQ have found themselves much in demand for high profile functions. The quartet has performed at weddings and events across the country as well as at many of the top venues and hotels in London. Venues include St James' Palace, The Natural History Museum, Earls Court, The House of Lords, The BT Tower, Claridges and The Ritz. With a vast repertoire to draw from, whether you prefer the elegance and romantic charm of the standard classics to accompany your wedding day, or a more upbeat collection of light jazz and contemporary music to add extra sparkle to your corporate function, ASQ has something to offer all tastes.
