Andy Lewis Band
Having formed over in 2001, the Andy Lewis Band have gone on to play hundreds of gigs in the UK and Continental Europe. These include performing pop and funk at celebrity events at the Hurlingham Club, entertaining over 3000 people at the Watersweets festival in Vassiliki, Greece, supplying soul and Jazz for corporate events at such places as Café de Paris, The National Theatre, Alexandra Palace, Babington House and the RAC club, and providing music for countless weddings and parties across the country ranging from Marquee and garden parties, to events at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge, Pride Park in Derby and the Walkers stadium, Leicester.
Despite being a London based band, no gig is too far away. In October last year they played at a wedding in Chamonix, France, and frequently perform as far a field Wales, the north east and Scotland.
In the last couple of years, they have developed the duo and trio format of the band to incorporate smaller budgets and venues, but sustaining their repertoire in the process. With the use of loop pedals, and a number of synths, they can -and have- played in this format for weddings and major corporate dos, including work for Calvin Kelin and Davidoff. Andy and the pianist both sing, and with the addition of Andy's trumpet and percussion playing, and the synths and backing vocals, the sound is still multi layered, and more than capable of taking on any event!
Finally, they also provide our own PA system, are fully insured and their equipment is PAT tested.
The band members are all professional musicians, with credits such as Sting, Corinne Bailey Rae, JTQ and Vanessa Mae to their names.
