Testimonials

I wanted to pass on our HUGE thanks for recommending Barn Storm. They were absolutely incredible and we all loved them. The village also heard their music and were really impressed, too, which is great.

It was a great night and the band members were all beyond lovely, so a huge thank you, again.

-Jacqueline Phippard

I booked Barn Storm for my son's wedding and couldn't have been more thrilled; they were the perfect choice. The band members were utterly relaxed and so much fun, and the atmosphere that they created was incredible. Everyone commented on how great they were and they got the dance floor filled in an instant - with the young and old - and we all stayed dancing throughout their entire set. They even invited the best man up to sing - and my son joined in with one song - and it was so much fun. The villagers commented on how brilliant the band was (apparently, they've been the talk of the town, this morning) and one local couple has asked for their name so that they can book them for their wedding. Barn Storm - I can't thank you enough. You were such pros, I really enjoyed meeting you all and you were the perfect band for such a special day. I also hope that you enjoyed the doughnuts!

Super. Created brill atmosphere. Musicians and vocals were superb and really played to the room. Very willing to play requests and very reposive and helpful in the lead up to my wedding. Highly recommend

Richard’s Big Birthday, 11 November at The Boileroom, Guildford
Hi Barnstorm & co, You were amazing! Thank you so much for playing on Saturday night, you really made the party! We have had so many positive comments about the band, I hope you get some more bookings on the back of it. Best wishes, Sue & Richard

Excellent band, went down very well at my 50th Birthday Party. Very musical, flexible and good humoured. Would recommend them to others.

-John Joyce

We didn’t even get a chance to thank you for last night. We had a brilliant evening. You guys were fantastic and make it really special. Thanks so much and I hope your journey home was’nt too bad.

-Russ and Jess July 2012

"Hi Alex,
We have not spoken for a while, however, I just wanted to let you know that everything is very much on track with our wedding band on 25th June Barn Storm that we booked through you.
We have been to see Alexis and the guys play and they did a fantastic gig and spend a lot of time with us to discuss a few details. We have since spoke on the phone and arranged the finer details of the gig and everything has been organised.
I would like to say in advance that I am very impressed with Alexis's genuine desire to help organise our gig to just how we would like it and we will be highly recommending them if their performance is like what we saw.
Thank you for putting us in touch with them.
Kind regards,
Paul Keith-Jopp"

Hi Rick,

The band was absolutely wonderful and I have had nothing but positive feedback from all at MCI. They really made a great effort and made the party a million times more enjoyable. They were also very flexible with regards to setting up outside (rather than in the hot barn) and we are more than happy to recommend them to future projects.

Please pass on our thanks to them and I will hopefully be back in contact in the not too distant future."

"We have had so many comments about how great the band were. You got everyone dancing from the very first song!"
Alison and Giles Burchill, 14/11/09

"We are immensely grateful that we booked Barn Storm to play at our wedding. You broke the ice, made people laugh, and absolutely kick-started the party for us. We have passed on your details to quite a few of our friends and I would not be surprised if we see you again at more than one wedding next year!"
David and Pauline Avery,
2/1/10

"I want to give you my heartfelt thanks, not only for the superb job you did on the night itself, but for the way you dealt with my questions, anxieties, changes of plan, and micro management, in the days and weeks leading up to our wedding day. We had such particular ideas about all aspects of the music we wanted, but I now realise we need not have worried at all!"
Kate and Paul Stevenson
20/6/09

"We will never forget the way you guys handled a packed dance floor of my crazy friends and family, juggling my mad Aunt Lucy singing 'Its Raining Men', playing off the cuff requests without blinking, and handling stage invasion by my Uncle Phil without missing a beat! That night will be talked about in our family for years to come."
Liz and Guy Saunders
4/4/09

"What a superb night! Barn Storm provided the perfect finish to a very successful launch party. "
Dave McClements, Greencore consulting, 4/12/09

"I have never seen my father-in-law dance before, let alone sing! I'm not sure I ever want to again either, but the band absolutely made the evening come alive, and we still talk about it six months on!"
Amanda Mason, 22/8/09

"We have started a trend! We should be charging you guys commission for the amount of work we have put your way!"
Tim & Sally Davis, 23/4/09

"If there is one thing I would say to any bridezillas out there (and I should know because I am one) it's this: If you are lucky enough to see this band play before your wedding day, you know you have one less thing to worry about! With Barn Storm, your night is in safe hands."
