Booty

Booty is a 5 piece line up combining the timeless pop classics of the 60s with the school disco hits of the 70s and 80s along with playing 90s to current day rock/pop party anthems. Fronted by a male singer/guitarist the band have a unique identity by having the Irish virtuosic talent of Vanda on violin.

The band formed in 2002 combining a hard-edged folk sound with the timeless pop classics of the 60s, the school disco hits of the 70s and 80s right up to the present day indie pop. It was formed with the understanding that although a cover band, they would have a slightly different approach than other bands by using different instrumentation and adding a splash of vocal harmony. They cover music from the Beatles, Stones, Van Morrison, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Pogues and Proclaimers to Kings Of Leon, Stereophonics, Killers, and Lady Gaga.

The set is made up of non-stop party anthems encouraging guests to sing along and strike some of their favourite air-guitar poses!

Booty is a great fun band who really know how to play their instruments!

Extra Line-up(s)

1.We can also add a female vocalist either Andrea Britton (from Liberations) or Hazel Holder (from Ronnie Scotts Rejects). This makes it less 'rockier' for weddings and corporate parties playing a mix of pop, funk, soul and Booty style party anthems from 60s to current day.
2. Additional keyboard player. This works well with female singer and allows freedom for others to play other instruments. Two members of Booty are also pro sax players.

Also included

We have 2 x PAs. Giles Skiba does most events: 2k-3k front of house Mackie System, 24 channel digital mixer, in ear monitoring, basic lighting (4 x par 56), cds/ipod/djing for free in interval and til midnight.
If Giles isn't available, we have a HK Ellias system (1200 watt), 24 channel Allen and Heath GL2400 mixer, basic lighting (4 par 56), multicore, in ear monitoring. we always bring an engineer. Djing for free.If paying extra for dj ie after midnight and specific styles required, we have a few effect lights (not cheesy).
