Gold

Gold have been playing various venues and events for the last ten years. They play songs that people know and have gained a great reputation from clients throughout the UK. They are a modern reliable, professional band with a unique charismatic style and are perfect for parties and weddings.

Playing all the biggest number one hits from the sixties to the present day, Gold have gained a great reputation for their shining live shows, playing all the best guitar based anthems that get a crowd really rocking.

Great guitar solos and amazing vocals have given the boys the reputation of being one of the UK 's top guitar based cover bands with a no-nonsense attitude and a great sound.

The singer from Gold is one of the featured singers in the touring version of 90s hitmakers The Christians who scored top five hits with Harvest For The World, Hooverville and more.

Musicians used by Gold have toured with bands as diverse as Barclay James Harvest and Hurts.

Gold have played throughout Europe and the USA as well as being one of the busiest bands on the UK wedding circuit and playing hundreds of shows at holiday parks up and down the country.

Not forgetting the sing-along classics like Daydream Believer and Brown Eyed Girl, Gold can always get you off your seat with their own unique style and charisma leaving you with a top quality performance at every level every time.

A great, professional band with top quality PA and lights (Mackie PA for tech fans!) and top notch musicians Gold are one of LMMs favourite acts and we have had a ten year relationship of booking them into several hundred shows.

Musicians from Gold have also played with Tony Christie, The Hurts, The Christians,Barclay James Harvest and many more acts.

Gold have an electronic drum kit for events where volume is an issue. They can also be hired as a duo or trio for shows where space or budget is limited.

The Band provide a powerful but portable KV2 Audio state of the art PA system. They use a quality lighting rig and can play all sets at a lower volume using an Electric Drumkit and acoustic instruments.

north-wast based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, north-wast, Scotland, Wales, Ireland.

You got them up and dancing after the first few chords of the first song and kept them on the floor all the time you were playing. Quite an achievement considering the 'old farts' you were playing to. Just want to say what an amazing gig your colleagues performed in Trearddur Bay a couple of weeks ago. Sorry you could not make it but clearly all of you are a thoroughly proficient group of gigging musicians. Gold were the icing on the cake of my daughter's wedding! Their musicianship was superb, such a tight outfit and Neil managed the crowd with consummate ease ensuring the dance floor was always full.

As soon as they started with Valerie I knew we were in for great night!

We have had so much good feedback about the band since they played our wedding last Friday - the dance floor was packed from the moment they started playing and didn't empty until they finished. Their song selection was spot on all night; they really helped make our evening reception the part we wanted it to be.

Booked Gold for our wedding recently and only got positive things to say. BAnd was massively important for me for the day and they really lived up to all I'd hoped. Kept the dance floor packed all night, great mixture of songs and eras. Also really nice guys, which matters for a function like that. They also did all the DJing between sets and again gauged the crowd perfectly with the selections.
