Jade

The difference between Jade and other high-end showbands is that their background isn't in theatre, cruise ships or cabaret - it's in the mainstream music business. Members of the band have, for many years, toured and recorded with some of the biggest names in music (James Brown, Tom Jones, Robbie Williams, Ronan Keating, Enrique Iglesias, Kylie....) giving them a 'Rock n Roll' edge that definitely isn't cabaret!
Jade was put together by an events company in 1998, hand-picking top performers for a party in Westminster for the Labour Party Cabinet. Since then they've played at virtually every Virgin Atlantic flight launch party all over the World (Las Vegas, Shanghai, Lagos, Mumbai, Havana, Nassau, Dubai...), played several times at Sir Richard Branson's house and for companies including American Express, Barclays and the Johnnie Walker Golf Classic in Phuket. They've also had the honour of performing at private functions for Prince Charles,Prince Andrew, The Sultan Of Oman and Princess Alia of Jordan.
They were the house band on the Charlotte Church TV show and have recently had Smokey Robinson,Ashford and Simpson and Deniece Williams perform with them as guest singers.

Extra Line-up(s)

The brass section can perform a Jazz/Swing/improv. set with a backing track perfect for a drinks reception or during dinner.
The rest of the band can perform an acoustic/background music set (Burt Bacharach to James Blunt) perfect for a drinks reception or during dinner.

Also included

We hire in PA & lights specific to each event ranging from a 2K PA with 2 x 4 par cans lights to a full outdoor rig with light show.
Their PA is 3.5KW PA with two stands with 4 x par cans for lights.

Location

South East based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, north-wast, Wales.

They were very professional and easy to work with, the host of the party and the cosmopolite audience genuinly had a lot of fun attending their performance. Sorry for my delay in sending you this note!

The party went very well and much of the success was due to the performance from Sway. They truly caught everyones hearts and feet for the evening and the only point where the dance floor was slightly clear was when the buffet was announced. I have arranged a few parties over the years from our wedding, 18th parties and more regular house parties, but I have never received so much positive feedback and congratulations on an event. I can also add that Taylar (our 11 year old daughter) went ahead and sang beautifully for her Dad (bringing many tears to the audiences' eyes) this was hugely helped and encouraged by the band members who practised with her before hand and really made her feel comfortable and positive about singing her piece.

Please can you pass on our biggest thanks to all the team, including Mr DJ, maybe they will be available for when Taylar is 18?!

Thank you so much for all your help in making Saturday such a great night! Jade were absolutely fantastic and utterly professional throughout. The girls were especially wonderful and we loved performing with them – we really couldn’t have done it without them. We felt very lucky to have such a great band to play the song for Jules and needless to say, she loved it! OK, On the FIRST song, the dance floor was ½ full and on the SECOND song COMPLETELY full !!!!!!

The 2-hour Sets went PERFECTLY and at the end JADE came back into the dressing room upstairs but Clients claim back for them during 15 MINUTES !!!!!

So, I asked them to come back on stage and even WITHOUT SHOES FOR THE GIRLS !! and they performed 2 fabulous songs under Ovation !!

JADE gently said that they never had such a great audience !!!....



Frankly Tracy, THE OVERTURES were great but JADE put the level higher and higher !...

What can WE propose in 2 YEARS for the WPC next Event ??????!!!



I saw the WPC President today and he said this is the best Band he has seen in his life and he lives in NY !

Saw Jade at a big wedding last year in Suffolk. Great choice of music. They seemed like a really fun bunch - cool and classy, definitely not cheesy! Great musicians too.

Jade was absolutely fabulous! We had so many positive comments from all of our guests and I think the band will agree with me that the dance floor was absolutely packed the whole time.
It was only too bad it was over too soon and it was a tough act to follow for any DJ. Harry did a good job but he agreed with me that he should have had a more powerful sound system as it was a bit weak following the band.
I would definitely use Jade again. It is the best band I have seen apart from very famous artists, like Roxette, Tina Turner etc. Everybody asked where I had found this fantastic band and they also said that they played most songs even better than the originals.
