London Jazz Guitars
A new exciting international project featuring two accomplished guitarists Maciek (Poland) and Gianluca (Italy). Both instrumentalists share a passion for acoustic world rhythms and bring together their rich musical backgrounds.

MACIEK
Polish guitarist and composer Maciek since arriving in the UK in 2003 has quickly established himself as an up-and-coming guitarist and has toured the UK and Europe with his original project. He has played at venues such as Ronnie Scott's, Pizza Express, National Theatre, Royal Albert Hall and BBC Radio. He recorded a solo guitar album entitled "Beyond Yourself" in 2006 and an EP "Discoveries" in 2008 with his trio. He is the recipient of UK's Jazz Services Recording Support Scheme for 2012. In February 2013 Maciek recorded a new album "Insight" with drummer Asaf Sirkis and double bass player Yuri Goloubev at ARTESUONO studio in Italy with ECM's sound engineer Stefano Amerio. The album will be released on 22nd May 2013 on 33JAZZ Records. He has worked and played with: Asaf Sirkis, Yuri Goloubev, Adam Glasser, Gianluca Corona, Jay Phelps, Shabaka Hutchings, Kit Downes, Tim Whitehead, Maurizio Minardi and Patrick Bettison to name a few.
GIANLUCA
Sardinian guitarist Gianluca graduated from GIT in Los Angeles in 1993, where he studied with Scott Henderson, Joe Diorio, Norman Brown and Brett Garsed. Upon graduation he became focused on developing his jazz and fusion playing, participating in masterclasses by Pat Metheny, Ralph Towner and John Scofield. In his career Gianluca has played guitar for many top Italian artists, including singer Andrea Parodi, Israeli singer Noa and world famous guitarist Al Di Meola.
