Magically Motown

Magically Motown is a lovely singer with wonderful timing, a great sense of humour and a warm, earthy voice. She performs Jazz and/or Motown, solo or with a band.

Clients include Sony Pictures, Harvey Nichols and The Berkeley Hotel and she has performed internationally at both corporate events and private parties. From Manchester to Moscow, from Birmingham to Bahrain, Magically Motown has wowed audiences and received glowing praise. Along with her band members she'd love to make your evening a great success!


She held a residency at London's Harvey Nichols for more than a year and has had various other residencies around London as well as being featured on TV in the UK, France and Iran. She has also been guest vocalist on several cruises.
Magically Motown is perfect for corporate events.

MOTOWN SHOW

Mo-Jazz Diva is one of the few female singers who can do an all-Motown tribute. With her 3-octave vocal range she can belt out songs from not only the girl groups but also from artists like The Temptations, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder.

The show comes with a variety of different options. If you'd like a 2-set performance, the first set can contain Motown standards, or a Diana Ross mini tribute.

Onstage, she has all the grace, glitz and glamour of a true diva. She performs wearing beautiful, custom-designed evening gowns and truly looks the part with her graceful silhouette, lovely smile, beehive hairdo and diamante jewellery. She can also slip into a mini dress and go-go boots for a more casual look and loves to get down during the party numbers.

A favourite part of the show is when Magically Motown invites two of the audience up on stage to be The Supremes. They're given their own microphones and tambourines and Magically Motown runs through a dance routine with them before the backing singers perform a song with her. It certainly gives everyone a night to remember!

She spent eight years living in the USA and worked with one of the world's top vocal coaches, Seth Riggs (he's coached Stevie Wonder, Natalie Cole, Michael Jackson and Luther Vandross). She has also performed overseas in New York and Los Angeles.

She has also been a backing vocalist for Florence + The Machine and she has performed for Sony Pictures, Harvey Nichols, Belkin and many other well known corporates at hundreds of events both in the UK and internationally.

Top spec Bose L1 Model 2 PA suitable for up to 250 people. Lighting rig - 4 par cans with a variety of floor spots. For larger corporate gigs we can hire a PA separately or go through the house PA.
