Movie Killers Bigband
The band is run by saxophonist Andy Isherwood, who has selected some of the finest young and experienced musicians from the UK.
All musicians are professionals who specialise in jazz and virtuoso big band performance... There's nothing that compares to the sound of an allstar big band in full Swing!
We offer a compelling repertoire of Movie themes and Cult classics, perfect for a 'Hollywood' themed event. But that's not all!
We also have a selection of 'Strictly' dancing music including Hot Latin numbers, Mambos, Tangos, Rhythm and Blues, Rock 'n Roll, Jump Jive and Swing, Cha Cha's, Waltzs, Dixieland, even Jazz and Easy listening music for dining.
With the added option of vocalists and full Latin Percussion section, we can guarantee to get everyone up on the dancefloor partying the night away.
Outstanding musicianship, sharp dress code, high energy and bespoke arrangements are the hallmark of this dynamic ensemble.

Line-up
Music is orchestrated for the following lineup:
4 trumpets, 4 Trombones, 5 Saxophones, Piano/keys, Guitar, Bass, Drums, (optional Latin percussionist and Vocals)
Please note!
Due to the size of the band, we require min 5X6 metres of space and usually require min 30-45 minute setup/soundcheck time.
Extra Line-up(s)
Guest vocalists male and or female. (They use their own repertoire)
Latin percussion section to add Fire and Zing!!!
Also included
We like to keep the sound of the band as authentic as possible. We mic Soloists and vocalists through a qualitly 800 watt PA. We provide lighting for the band. Extra exquipment can be specified such as dancefloor lighting and an extensive PA with technician for much larger venues.
Location
South East based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, Wales.

Extra Costs
The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.
Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.
(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)
Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.
Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 6pm and to be finished around midnight.
(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
