Platinum Strings

Boasting an extensive repertoire and promising to bring something a little different to your special event, Platinum Strings are a professional, all-female group of musicians with a passion for performing. From classical to romantic, jazz to pop, the foursome are ready and waiting to provide a stunning and inspiring accompaniment to your big day or corporate event.

Established in 2001 by four exceptionally talented musicians, Platinum Strings bring together a group of friends who are all passionate about music. After meeting, studying and playing together at music college, it seemed a natural progression that the four should perform professionally.

Having wowed weddings, impressed at corporate events, made parties memorable and performed recitals for ten years, the Platinum Strings have developed a wide, varied and exciting repertoire. Musician, Karina MacAlpine, says: "We have a massive repertoire, covering everything from the usual standard string quartet numbers to jazz, Broadway show tunes and pop - whatever our clients require us to play, we always do our best to come up with the goods."

So, whatever song you dream of hearing as you walk down the aisle, Platinum Strings can make it a reality. We provide a totally professional service, we always arrive early and perform to the best of our ability. Of course, we really enjoy what we do and it's so lovely playing as part of Platinum Strings because it just makes us smile and really allows us to have fun.
