Pluck
Pluck is the hot ticket of the after-dinner cabaret world. Hilarious, musical and oozing with class, this international award-winning act guarantees an unforgettable evening with its irresistible mix of white tie, wit and incredible talent.
Imagine you have just enjoyed a splendid meal. You sit back and relax as three impeccably dressed musicians are introduced to the stage and begin playing the delightful sounds of Vivaldi's Spring. But very soon you realise this is no ordinary concert: The pompous leader is upstaged by his colleagues, and the sultry cellist, struck by love at first sight, makes her way into the audience to serenade an unsuspecting guest with Ravel's Bolero. Pluck's concert continues with a beautifully sung rendition of jazz-classic Fever, and a variety of instrumental solos, interspersed with brilliant comedy and played with perfection. Then the finale: a tooth-plucking tribute to the legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix, which ends with a violin on fire! Your guests will leave either humming a classic tune or aching with laughter, or both!
Pluck has entertained guests as far afield as Slovenia, Taiwan and Australia, and closer to home in London's great venues, The Natural History Museum, the Dorchester and St James' Palace to name a few. Whether playing an intimate set to one table of guests, or stunning an audience of thousands in a football stadium, pluck injects unique hilarity into a first-class musical performance. Their show continues to contribute to the success of events throughout the world.

We were lucky enough to book to see Pluck at the local Theatre Royal a number of years ago. Right from the off, we knew we were in for a treat both for the music and the humour. Being the "stooge" for not only Bolero and Fever, but also Purple Haze ("Excuse me while I kiss this guy!") was absolutely the icing on the cake. If you see that they are performing anywhere near you, just go. Don't even think about it because if you miss out, you will regret it forever. (Or until they come next time.)

Dear Jenni,
First of all, a thousand apologies for not sending this email sooner - the last couple of months have been a bit hectic and we can't believe how fast time continues to go by!
We wanted to say the biggest ever thank you to Kit, John and Flora for being absolutely fantastic on our wedding day on May 22nd this year. From start to finish they were everything we had hoped for. When I arrived at the Church to hear such beautiful music and to be able to walk up the aisle to 'O Mio Babbino Caro' was just perfect - I love this piece of music and it meant so much that it could be played (thank you to Kit for the arrangement!).To have them play at Ashridge College for our drinks reception was brilliant too - in such a glorious setting all our guests were able to relax and have a drink in the sun with wonderful musical accompaniment. However the highlight was of course the cabaret after dinner - which our guests definitely weren't expecting and which went down an absolute storm! In a day full of smiles and laughter this was the icing on the cake and had everyone up and clapping and joining in! I don't think people could believe their eyes or ears and everyone was just singing their praises - so many of our friends thought they
were pure genius and want an encore even now!
So - thank you so very very much - our wedding day sped by so very fast (in fact we want to do it all over again!), and we loved every minute of it and have such fantastic memories which are so precious to us.
I remember Flora was getting married not long after us - I hope her wedding day was brilliant too!
Again - sincere apologies for the lateness of this note - but we wish Pluck much continued - and very much deserved - success in the
future!
All the very best,
Helen and Jason wedding testimonial Summer 2010
"...Pluck interpreted the very particular needs of the Kings Fund with great ability, producing a skilled, innovative and fun performance...their intervention was expertly judged, and provided the balance to create a perfect arc to the event. There is no doubt that our events would not have been so successful without Plucks contribution..."
Sarah Waller, Programme Director, King's Fund (2006)
"When I first heard of the group as a classical act, I had reservations as to how they would be received by our members, but by the time I witnessed Pluck playing Hendrix on violins, I knew I'd made a good call in booking this most talented threesome... Their act was first class and attracted tremendous feedback from guests, who gave them a standing ovation.
Graham Cassidy, Chief Superintendent and National Deputy Secretary, Police Superindentents Association (2008)
A unique mix of sophisticated music and hilarious comedy.
The only cabaret show to end with a violin on fire!
Highly Entertaining !!
