Act Profile

Punk up the Jam!

Punk up the Jam! play the best Punk and New Wave music from 1977 to 1982. A tribute to The Clash, The Jam, Sex Pistols, Ian Dury & The Blockheads, The Stranglers, Blondie, The Specials, Elvis Costello, and more

Punk up the Jam! is the brainchild of Dave Bickley. After several years of searching for the right musicians, the band is now complete, committed and well rehearsed. Made up of four professional musicians, the sheer technique and ability shines through, delivering a very tight and authentic sound.

The Band:

Dangerous Dave is the band leader, singer, provocateur, performer, and the guy who had the idea to get a band together to play all these tunes that he loves. .

Planet Mark takes charge of the guitar and keyboard duties. Well known for amazing guitar solos and an individual dancing style!

The rhythm twins:

Nick, aka The Shadow, on bass guitar, brings some much needed eye candy to the band. He's well known for his punk kilt - ladies, why not ask him what he's wearing underneath? He delivers a rock steady bass line and plenty of attitude!

Mr Thunder Sticks, aka big Dan, aka The Baby Elephant, anchors the whole show from the back. In the course of a show he'll be funky, brutal, and just plain sweaty.

Punk up the Jam! never ever fail to get a party going and will make your event a truly memorable experience!
