Rio Squad
Rio Squad are a professional group of Rio style Carnival drummers and performers.
The group consists of 3 to 5 drummers and and a minmum of 2 dancers, complete with beautiful costumes.
The band play traditional Brazilian rhythms created to make you dance. The band performs at carnivals, festivals, corporate events and clubs, playing anything from a short surprise set to a full club style onslaught of addictive up tempo dance floor rhythms that keep the audience moving all night.
The addition of the Rio Squad dancers makes this show compact but full of energy and spectacle. We may be small, but the show is mighty!
Act Information
Line-up
The drummers play multiple instruments meaning that the sound is bigger than the sum of it's players. The carnival dancers are in full traditional Rio costume.
Our minimum line up is a 5 piece to include 3 drummers and 2 dancers.
Extra Line-up(s)
We can augment the band with more drummers and dancers if required.
The band can perform as a totally acoustic roaming act or an on stage performance.
Also included
We have an HK audio 3k rig including a mackie desk and high quality mics. We also use par can 64 lights. The p.a. is only necessary on larger events.
Location
Midlands based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, north-wast, Wales.

Extra Costs
The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.
Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.
(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)
Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.
Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 6pm and to be finished around midnight.
(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
