Saskia and the Jazz Cats

Saskia and the Jazz Cats was formed in 2005 around the unmistakeable vocals of Saskia Bruin to record Saskia's debut album 'The Day Is Done'. The record proved a huge hit with easy listening kings David Jacobs and Desmond Carrington who aired tracks from it several times on BBC Radio 2. Since then, the group has been busy playing functions and concerts throughout the South East, including a year-long residency at the exclusive hotel Swynford Paddocks in Six Mile Bottom near Newmarket. They have recently completed Saskia's second album, 'Step Inside Love'.

The group is equally expert in beautiful, sultry bossa novas as in swinging standards. The current sextet line-up features vocalist Saskia Bruin, pianist Chris Ingham, double bass player Andrew Brown, drummer Russell Morgan, saxophonist Colin Watling and guitarist Andy Watson. Smaller versions of the group can be used for cool, subtle background level jazz during dinner parties and drink receptions, adding a touch of style that ensures your event will be a special and successful one. Larger versions of the group enables Saskia and the Jazz Cats to perform a function or jazz gig to any size of audience.

Saskia has also sung at venues across Europe and the USA, both as a guest soloist and leading her own band.
