The Funky Soul Band

The Funky Soul Band are a funk/soul covers band from the heart of London. Brought together when they all found themselves studying in London they discovered a mutual love for classic funk and soul music. Connected in their tastes by acts such as James Brown, Earth Wind and Fire, Average White Band, Tower of Power, and Aretha Franklin they soon realised they had the ingredients for a very funky band.

Since forming, The Funky Soul Band have developed a reputation for great live shows with tight, professional and very entertaining performances.

Individually, despite their youth, the band are very experienced and have played at some of Londons most prestigious venues, such as the Shepherds Bush Empire, Bush Hall, Indigo at the O2 and Bush Hall. They play with an energy that can only be described as electric and guarantee a musical treat every time they take to the stage.

Ten piece Funk/Soul/Disco band, three Vocalists, Brass Section and a monster back line.

We can offer a three piece early dinner Jazz Trio for a small surcharge that can be available to play earlier on during your event.
However this must be booked in conjunction with the full band.

Large PA capable of dealing with large venues and audiences. We provide our own sound engineer so the sound is guaranteed to be good.
