The Red Hot Band

The members of The Red Hot Band have been wowing audiences for well over 10 years. They have been privileged to play at some amazing venues and for some wonderful people including many TV, screen, sports & political celebrities.

They have astounded countless newlywed couples on the happiest days of their lives including learning and playing their chosen first dances. They have rocked students at annual balls up and down the country. They have entertained celebrities, armed forces, politicians, corporate and private clients giving them a show they will never forget. The one thing these clients have all enjoyed is perhaps THE liveliest show on the entertainment scene.

For more than a decade this fabulous band have earned an impeccable reputation for professionalism, punctuality, attention to detail, stunning harmonies and jaw dropping live shows. They have consequently been entrusted to perform at many celebrities parties including the fabulous wedding of the England cricket captain Michael Vaughn. They met and sang on stage with the England cricket squad including Andy Caddick and the legendary 'Freddie' Flintoff. They have played regularly at fundraisers for both Tory and Labour leaders including the then prime minister William Hague and MP Roy Hattersley to mention but a few. Celebrity fans include Nigel Harman (Dennis of east enders), Prunella Scales (Sybil Fawlty), Jimmy Jones (comedian), coronation street's Jimmi Harkishin (dishy Dev) and the cast of Emmerdale, not to mention countless massive R.A.F, Army and Navy base regimental shows throughout the country. They've even supported showbiz darlings Ant n Dec and Oasis! From POP to ROCK, R&B to SOUL and SWING to just about anything these guys are truly sensational!
All this along with literally 1000's of wonderful weddings, unforgettable university balls, big and small budget corporate shows and private sell out concerts. So don't book a poor imitation, ignore the rest, book the best in the business, you will NOT be disappointed!

These days the music circuit is inundated with acts that MIME. The Red Hot Band are a TOTALLY LIVE act which means they don't use or need backing tracks unlike many in the industry today. The band is fronted by bass legend Glenn Jackson on bass/rhythm guitar, vocals and harmonica who is also the founder member of The Red Hot Band. The much sought after Steve (The Animal) Riley is the mesmerisingly flamboyant drummer, singer and percussionist. Then there is the fabulously talented fingers and voices of Russ Weaver and Rob Belliss bringing incredible acoustic, electric guitar and great vocals to the mix whilst the immensely talented Chris (the captain) Coates joins them on piano, keyboards, synths, mandolin, guitar and of course vocals.

Whether it's AUTHENTIC Ratpack, jiving rock n roll, swinging sixties, sensational seventies, electric eighties, Brit Pop nineties or up to date sounds of the naughty noughties, The Red Hot Band blend and mix all styles and genre's to keep the night fresh and ever changing. They are without doubt the only band needed to make your event truly memorable.

Drums and percussion. Bass guitar. Twin electric and acoustic guitars. Piano, keyboards and synths. Mandolin and harmonica. 5 piece vocal harmonys and uniquely all 5 alternating lead vocalists.

Full 45 mins early dinner jazz/swing set if requested with prior arrangement.
Provision for CD player/I-pod through our P.A for background or party music in between sets. (If you can't stretch to a DJ as well).
Larger P.A is also available for the much bigger shows.

The Red Hot Band use the very latest Pro Logic Systems 4k POWERED PA rig and monitor system. I Color, twin professional 'intelligent lighting system'. All equipment is PAT tested annually and the band hold uptodate public liability insurance. They also carry 2 sizes of PA to accomodate any venue size big or small. 3 options for stagewear inc Black suit n tie Atire. We DO NOT use smoke machines (much to the relief of most hotels and venues).

Midlands based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North West.

We were so thrilled when we finally managed to book you after trying to get you for months and without a doubt you made our perfect day all the more special. I just wanted to pass on how fantastic everybody said you were and the new 2009/2010 show is the best ever. The video is great and everybody commented on how polite and professional you all were, not to mention how authentic sounding all the fab new material is. My favourites were the eagles, take that and kings of leon!
We cant thank you enough for learning our wedding dance, it was truly unforgettable and take thats 'rule the world' sounded better than we ever could have hoped for! We worked out that you had 17 enquiries for bookings that night and we are now trying to think of an excuse to book you again!

A quick note to say thankyou for an exceptional performance at our wedding. Everyone was HUGELY impressed by the show & the music and we thoroughly enjoyed your 2 sets immensely. Even the old folks commented positively. So many people asked us where we had found you from. You handled the cramped conditions very professionally and the mix and volume was just right for the venue. (several of the non wedding residents also said how much they enjoyed the music and we gave out all 50 of your cards that night. Im sure you already know that the venue want you for their resident wedding/function band too according to the manager! Cant thank you all enough for all your help making our day so special and 'Chasing Cars' by Snow Patrol was just AMAZING. We will definately be booking you again soon, you got it spot on! So thanks again and best wishes for 2010.
