The Ashdown Band

The band has been together with this lineup since '98, though we have played in various band combinations together since '76.
Peter Lacey vocals/guitar.
Pete Caruana vocals/bass.
Jon Fielder vocals/keyboards.
Ralph Martin vocals/drums.
We cover most styles with particular enthusiasm being for Beatles music, soul, tamla, pop, reggae and melodic rock from the 60's and 70's.
The repertoire in total goes from 50's rock'n'roll to recent charts hits.

The band usually performs a quiet unplugged set of more laid back songs featuring 3 and 4 part harmonies during the early part of the evening.

Also included

Behringer 1000 watt P.A. with side fill monitors. Mixing done at stage end.
8 par-cans on tripods plus 2 moving disco projectors plus main spotlight to illuminate band and dance floor.

They played at our staff party. started off with some softer dinner music then after dinner got everyone dancing solidly for 2 hours! Classic songs, well performed. The recordings don't quite do justice the energy and sound quality they get live.
