The Honeys

The Honeys are a Weddings & Functions band based in Hertfordshire who are able to perform both nationally and internationally if required. They play a wide variety of music ranging from the 1950's to modern day numbers, including a range of genres such as Swing, Rock n Roll, Funk, Rock, Pop, Reggae, Soul and Blues. Their repertoire is carefully designed to make your evening as fun and successful as possible and can be customized to suit your occasion.

The band played their first gig in January 2010, and have spent their time since then playing their mix of upbeat rock and pop hits at pubs, private events, weddings and parties throughout the Hertfordshire area and further afield.

Ashley is the phenomenally talented lead singer and keyboard player of The Honeys - a young up and coming singer / songwriter from Hertfordshire, she has been playing the piano since the age of 10 and singing since she was a toddler. After taking an unplanned 6 year break from music, Ashley is finally back in the music scene and has teamed up with some brilliant people along the way.

Nathan is the bands guitarist, switching seamlessly from steady rhythm guitar to wailing lead solo's as and when the music requires.

Oliver comes from a broad musical background as a singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instumentalist. A natural performer, his vocals and solid bass skills add a real depth to the sound of the band.

Jamie is the bands drummer. The organisational force behind the band, the Honeys wouldn't be what they are without his continuous efforts and input. Jamie has an electronic drum kit for those occasions when the noise levels need to be kept low.

We also offer a top of the range Photo Booth Service which is available to book with the band or separately!

Extra Line-up(s)

Upon request the band can provide an additional acoustic set and/or provide a disco. The Singer and guitarist are available to perform as a duo. Additional musicians are available upon request including saxophone, second guitarist, backing vocalists, violin and a pianist (to allow Ashley to focus on vocal performance.)

We had these guys play at our wedding in February this year and they were incredible! They were so friendly and kept everyone up dancing. We asked them to learn our first dance song and it was unforgettable. I would highly recommend them for your event :-)

The Honeymooners played at our wedding on Saturday and were absolutely amazing! They completely blew us away and all our guests were so impressed, saying how great they were. Jamie and the band were so friendly and easy to book, deal with and so helpful with any requests or questions we had. We've just got back from our honeymoon and I wanted to email you to say THANKS SO MUCH for being absolutely brilliant at our Wedding!! Everyone has commented how great you were, saying you were the best band they had ever seen at a wedding and many have said they want you at their weddings when they get married so no doubt some bookings will be coming your way! You really were great so thank you, I just wish we could do it all again! Also loved Summer of 69 so thank you for putting that in!

You completed what was not just a perfect day for us but a perfect wedding. You were awesome.

The Honeys were in fact even better live than we had heard through the website!!! They were all amazing and our family and friends loved them. They had made such an effort to learn our first dance song and the choice of music for the evening was perfectly suited to us and our guests! It was just a shame we couldn't have them play for longer! Unfortunately they had managed to damage their snare drum in transit on the way to the venue, so were not able to start when we had expected but we didn�t end up waiting for long. However, they somehow managed to arrange a replacement. Despite the difficulties they had, they managed to get the show back on the road and played through the entire set with only a 5 minute break to compensate for the lost time. They made our evening so special - the guests hardly realised there was any delay or technical issues. We would recommend them and hopefully get to hear them again when we have another excuse to celebrate! Thank you
