The Swing Men

The Swing Men is a trio formed by Alexis, Andrea on guitars and Fabio on doublebass.
The guys have been together for three years now and they played in all sort of occasions like : wedding receptions, birthday parties , festivals, clubs night and corporates events.
They play modern swing /gypsy jazz also identified as modern manouche with an original twist, their repertoire it's a mix of up-tempo/dancy tunes with romantic/atmospheric ballads.
Django reinhardt, Bireli Lagrene, classic jazz standard, modern artist and soundtracks (which they re-arrange in their hot key) are their main inspiration but they also have a catalogue of original tunes !!!

Beautiful on a warm summer's evening.

"The Swing Men provided us with a most excellent and professional evening of music. Their playing was exemplary and the cries of "more" at the end of the evening were an indication of their level of musicianship and ability to interact with the audience. Wedding receptions can be particularly difficult gigs but these guys totally nailed it. We have already booked them for our acoustic music club in December and eagerly look forward to their performance and the opportunity to share the HSG experience with our regular audience."

"Looking round at the audience I noticed most were tapping their feet or bobbing their head to the trio�s first number! Expert rhythm guitar, clean and swift lead and the all important swing of the bass saw several dancers on the small wooden floored area trying to keep up with the fast rhythm. Classics like Caravan and Limehouse Blues had the diners applauding appreciatively. Two hours of music, with a short break to let your feet have a rest the band finished with a flawless rendition of Sweet Georgia Brown. Sadly the evening was over for the music, but I was assured they will return, and I shall be there again giving support for these talented men!!"
